The best time to visit Goa is from November till March, before peak summer hits in. But, if you want to witness the lush green landscape of Goa and don’t mind travelling around in the rain then, pay Goa a visit between June and October (but, most of the water sports will be closed during this time due to high tides.)

4. Panjim – The capital of Goa, where you can still see some beautiful old Portuguese houses. Take a stroll down Fontainhas, the Portuguese quarter where the narrow streets are filled with lovely red bricked houses, churches with stained glass windows and some great pubs and restaurants. In the evening, take a river cruise up the Mandovi River or walk down the promenade of Miramar beach and enjoy the city lights.
